Am i Seeing Things

In the famous play Julius Caesar, there is a character named Brutus. He is the main character. He ends up killing Julius Caesar and gets the people to kick him out of the city, but later, when he wages war on Antony

Caesar now me and you both know ghosts are not real so i believe that instead of being an actual ghost it was an apparition of his mind if him going insane i believe what he thought he was doing was right but he still didn't want to do it in that way he didn't want to kill Julius Caesar but he knew he had to its duty over self indulgence for self reliance or self pleasure it's just he believes in justice so i think it drove brutus mad he couldn't take it that he killed someone he was very fond of and his wife left him so he started to go crazy and see things which ends up losing him the war
