after world war one or the great war it was common for people in germany to be really poor and really sad so when a charming charismatic man shows up and says he'll take away all their problems it was a no brainer for them to trust him i mean if you were in severe debt and some guy said he could take away all your problems sure now it sound weird but back then it sounded awesome he told them it wasn't actually their fault that they lost but it was actually the backstabbing of the jewish kind and therefore creating an enemy for the germans to fall back on and then of course there is the monetary aspect that's the reason why russia italy and other countries fell to the german side to conquer
